Meaning of the Colors

Our colors are unique in that they are a pictorial description of salvation.

The cross is red representing the blood Jesus shed for the remission of sin.  "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace."  (Ephesians 1:7)

The motorcycle on the highway leaving the cross represents the biker who has received Jesus as Lord and Savior.  The seven center lines on the highway represent God's number of completeness.  We have been made complete by the blood of Jesus and are commissioned to go back into the world and preach the good news of salvation.  "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every living creature.  He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned."  (Mark 16:15-16)

The light on the bike has Jesus on it because He is our guiding light and He is the light of the world.  Jesus said, "I am the light of the world.  He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."  (John 8:12)

The dove on the cross above the bike represents God's Holy Spirit empowering us to preach the gospel.  "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samari, and to the end of the earth."  (Acts 1:8)

The clouds and lightning represent the second coming of Christ to gather up all those who believe in Him.  "For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so shall the coming of the Son of Man be."  "Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  And HE will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."  (Matthew 24:27 & 24:30, 31)

Heaven Bound is where we are headed after we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior.  "Most assuredly I say to you, unless one is BORN AGAIN, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven."  (John 3:3)
